Scanned image showing damage and a large cyan "stain" on the original B&W negative. Using Photoshop, the image is transformed! Restoration can be applied to images from prints, posters, documents or film.
Image editing using Photoshop removed the cyan stain and other imperfections such as specs and scratches. Photoshop now has built in AI tools for sharpening and reducing image noise.
The final touch! Color was manually added to the image to show how B&W images can become color. Images colored this way will resemble the black and white photographs colored by hand with water paints
Purple/brown blotches were removed from the scanned copy of the original artwork using Photoshop™ filters. Faded or discolored artwork can restored to estimated original coloring and appearance.
Original photographs, documents, posters or artwork are digitized, then edited using Adobe© Photoshop. Edited image files can be printed in our shop from a wide range of papers and canvas.
Image is captured at 600 dpi, 24 bit depth and saved for image editing. Maximum original size scanned is 36 x 48"
Flatbed or autofed scanning is used. Flatbed scanning is recommended to obtain optimal image quality.
If required, photos are removed from their frames prior to scanning. Paper backing, nails or fasteners are removed from frame in order to access the artwork or photo. This service also includes re-installing media to frame. Photos stuck to frame glass will NOT be removed
